Information for new users:

Uploading/ Creating your pages:

Please upload your website via FTP using your username and password using an FTP client like CuteFtp available at www.globalscape.com/cuteftp into your public_html folder and replace this index.htm file with your index.htm or index.html file. If you need to create webpages for your website you may create them with any text editor if you know HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) or you may use a graphical program like FrontPage from Microsoft or Dreamweaver from Macromedia.

    Security notice:

    Note all folders you create etc. /public_html/yournewfolder need to have an index HTML file named index.htm or index.html created or if you don't the webserver will display a directory listing showing all the files in that folder to the visitor should they browse directly to that directory. Directory listing is not recommended unless you wish the visitor to browse your files, but some users request this feature so that is why we have it turned on.

    Also a note, our server uses case-sensitive file names, for best results we recommend you use all lowercase for your files and folders.
